License questions
The fine print, in plain English.
What counts as a household?+
Your immediate family living in the same home. Parents, kids, step-kids, grandkids you homeschool full-time. Not cousins across town, not your neighbor's kid doing a math club once a week.
Can I share with another family?+
No — one household per license. If you're a co-op or a few families pooling, email me at Build.UnderstandingInq@gmail.com and we'll quote a co-op license separately.
What's the trial / refund policy?+
Every family plan starts with 14 days free. We collect a card at checkout (so the trial flips smoothly to paid) but you won't be charged until day 15, and you can cancel anytime in the trial. After the first paid charge, the standard 30-day refund window applies — email me directly.
Can I switch between Lite, Plus, and Max?+
Yes, anytime, from the parent dashboard. Stripe prorates the difference. Downgrading below your current student count just asks you which profile to archive — their progress is preserved if you ever come back.
Monthly vs. annual — what's the difference?+
Annual is roughly two months free vs. paying monthly. Same product either way. You can switch billing frequency from your account settings whenever you want.
What if I have 7+ kids?+
Family Max covers 6. Email Build.UnderstandingInq@gmail.com and we'll set up a custom invoice for additional seats — same product, just sized for your household.
Do my kids need their own emails?+
No. You hold the parent account; each student gets a profile (name, grade level, avatar) under your account. No second email per kid.
When does the trial start — at signup or at first use?+
It starts when you complete checkout. You'll get an email three days before it ends so you can cancel if it's not working out.
